Chaayos Illustration

This is my entry for the chai and relax art contest by chaayos.
I don't always enter art contests cause of the diminishing returns but I enjoyed working on this one. I ran out of time which is why I went with the comic book illustration finish to it.

My idea here was to use an Indian mother to represent my idea of ' Chai and relax ' as there is no other person who needs to just take a break from household chores and unfair societal patriarchal responsibilities more than our mother's. My wish is for mothers to just have their Chai, relax and not give a damn about the chaos unfurling in the background.
